Cedric: “DADDY, WHY DON’T YOU WEAR HEARING AIDS ANYMORE?”
Panel 2: (Cedric and Desmond are seated on a sofa. Cedric is holding a book with a curious expression. Desmond is trying to think, pointing out a list with his hands)
Desmond: “WELL, THERE WAS…”
Panel 3: (A boy is trying to eat soup, but one piece of his hearing aid fell into the soup with a splashing PLOP! sound)
Desmond: “THE SOUP INCIDENT…”

Desmond: “THE BATTERY ACID INCIDENT…”
