The boy is also wearing a life preserver, and holding up a fish on a string. He is smiling)
Cedric: “DADDY, WHY DON’T YOU WEAR HEARING AIDS ANYMORE?”

Panel 2: (Cedric and Desmond are seated on a sofa. Cedric is holding a book with a curious expression. Desmond is trying to think, pointing out a list with his hands)
Desmond: “WELL, THERE WAS…”

Panel 3: (A boy is trying to eat soup, but one piece of his hearing aid fell into the soup with a splashing PLOP! sound)
Desmond: “THE SOUP INCIDENT…”

Panel 4: (A boy is shaking his hands, saying NOOO!, at a dog running away with the FM system in its mouth)
Desmond: “THE DOG INCIDENT…”

Panel 5: (A boy is curiously picking up the FM system which has green ooze leaking out of its side with an SSSS! sound. There is a hole burnt in the table from the green ooze)
Desmond: “THE BATTERY ACID INCIDENT…”

Panel 6: (A boy is trying to dispose of the FM system into a garbage can. He has a sneaky expression)
Desmond: “AND THE TRASH CAN INCIDENT.”
