Cedric: “YOU KNOW WHAT? THE SCARIEST PLACE IN OUR HOUSE IS MY MOM’S CLOSET.”

Panel 2: (Cedric and the boy are looking at clothes hanging on a rack. The boy is curiously pointing at the clothes, and Cedric is signing interpreter with a suspicious expression)
Boy: “WHY IS EVERYTHING BLACK?”
Cedric: “WELL… THE ‘STORY’ IS MY MOM IS AN INTERPRETER AND SHE HAS TO WEAR DARK CLOTHES FOR HER JOB BUT I AIN’T BUYING IT…”

Panel 3: (Cedric is signing witch to the boy, who looks scared. He is imagining Helen dressed as a witch, cackling. She is dropping a bat wing into a cauldron and stirring the green goo with a stick)
Cedric: “…I THINK REALLY MY MOM IS A WITCH!”

Panel 4: (Helen is serving sandwiches to Cedric and the boy, who are sitting at a table eating bowls of soup. Helen is smiling; Cedric is happily taking a sandwich, and the boy is looking at his bowl of soup with a concerned expression)
Helen: “HOW’S THE PEA SOUP?”
Cedric: “TASTE GREAT!”
The boy is thinking: “I SWEAR I SEE AN EYEBALL.”
