Man: “FOR THE XMAS PROGRAM INTERPRETING ASSIGNMENT, IT’S ONLY FAIR WE DRAW STRAWS!”
The group of interpreters is thinking: “OH NO!! I HOPE IT’S NOT ME!”

Panel 2: (The man’s arm is handing out the paper. Two interpreters’ hands are holding regular straws. Helen’s hand is holding a short straw)
Man: “HELEN, YOU’RE THE ONE!”

Panel 3: (Helen is rapidly signing, interpreting for a choir group singing a holiday song. Helen looks stressed, her signs all over the place)
Choir group: “…FOUR-CALLING-BIRDS-THREE-FRENCH-HENS-TWO-TURTLE-DOVES-AND-A-PARTRIDGE-IN-A-PEAR-TREE!”
