Barista: “OH WAIT, I KNOW SIGN LANGUAGE.”
Desmond: “OH… REALLY?”

Panel 2: (The barista is smiling and making an ILY handshape. Desmond and Cedric are walking away from the counter. Desmond is turning head back, uncomfortably smiling, holding his coffee, and giving a thumbs-up to the barista. Cedric looks surprised, holding a bag, and turning his head to look at the barista)

Cedric: “DAD, THAT GUY JUST SIGNED THAT HE LOVED YOU.”
Desmond: “YES… I KNOW.”
