Panel 1: (Desmond is at a bowling alley. He is holding a bowling ball near the ball return machine. There are two men sitting nearby, looking at him. One man is signing three to Desmond, and the other man is fiddling with his shoes)
Man: “OKAY DESMOND, HOW DID YOU GET HELEN TO LET YOU COME OUT THREE TIMES THIS WEEK?”

Panel 2: (Desmond is pointing away and signing coffee to Helen, who is washing dishes. Her hands are under the bubbly soap water)
Desmond: “HEY HON, I’M GOING TO THE COFFEE HOUSE, OKAY?”

Panel 3: (Desmond is sticking his head out of the doorway and signing okay to Cedric and Helen. Helen has yarn wrapped around her hands and Cedric is helping her roll the yarn into a ball)
Desmond: “OFF TO WATCH THE GAME, OKAY?”

Panel 4: (Desmond is happily walking away with a coat, holding a bowling ball bag. He is signing later to Helen, who is busy brushing and blowing her hair dry)
Desmond: “SEE YOU LATER, TONIGHT’S BOWLING NIGHT, OKAY?”

Panel 5: (Desmond is smiling, holding up a bowling ball in one hand and signing wait with the other hand. The two men in the bowling alley are laughing)
Desmond: “EASY! I WAITED UNTIL HER HANDS WERE FULL.”
